As part of the ongoing examination of its draft Local Plan West Oxfordshire District Council has published three additional evidence papers for consultation.
The documents are available to view online at www.westoxon.gov.uk/localplan2031 together with information on how to respond. Hard copies can also be viewed at the District Council Offices in Witney.
Cllr Jeff Haine, Cabinet Member for Planning said, “We are pleased that the Inspector is willing to accept comments on these documents and we are encouraging people to respond. “
The deadline for comments is 20 December and they should be sent to programme.officer@westoxon.gov.uk or by post to the Council Offices, New Yatt Road, Witney OX28 1PB.
Once the Inspector has considered any comments made, he envisages publishing his thoughts on the most appropriate way forward for the remainder of the Examination.
If he concludes that, subject to further changes, there is the likelihood of the plan being found sound, it is likely that formal consultation on those changes would take place early in 2018.
