Chadlington, Dean, Spelsbury and Taston Good Neighbours scheme, a group of local volunteers, are happy to receive requests from villagers of all ages.
The team are now offering a friendly listening ear for anyone feeling isolated and down at this time, as well as continuing to deliver food and other essentials to vulnerable people who cannot go out.
Telephone 07541 235002 or email chadlingtongoodneighbours@gmail.com to find out more
We are also fortunate to have good local services in Chadlington and Charlbury reducing the need for stressful shopping trips to town.
Cafe de la Post, Chadlington Quality Foods and Slatters Butchers are all trading and their staff doing a amazing job preparing orders and keeping their shelves well stocked with many of the essentials out of stock in the supermarkets.
Chadlington Village Hall car park provides a location for the Post Office van – see times here
Charlbury shops are still open (more information here), including the Co-op / Post Office, Charlbury Deli, Londis, and the Pharmacy, and there are several delivery services / market traders operating (see the link above); the Rose and Crown is even offering take-away beer!
Spelsbury has a small market garden offering fresh produce, eggs and preserves.
Our local churches may be closed but you can join a virtual service with the CHASE benefice.
