1 . An election is to be held for a Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley Police Area.
- Nomination papers can be obtained from the office of the Police Area Returning Officer, Council Offices, Market Street, Newbury RG14 5LD during the times stated below.
- Nomination papers must be delivered in person to the Police Area Returning Officer at Council Offices, Market Street, Newbury RG14 5LD on any date after the date of this notice from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) between the hours of 10am and 4pm, but no later than 4pm on Friday 5 April 2024. - If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 2 May 2024.
- During the period for the delivery of nomination papers, the sum of £5,000 must be deposited with the Police Area Returning Officer and can be made by legal tender, a banker’s draft, or by the electronic transfer of funds. Funds must be cleared before the nomination is valid. Please
